Find out how much you've spent on Uber rides, and where you rank among top spenders!
Recently, I was looking around for a way to see how much I've spent on Uber till date. Less than half-way into a manual process, I realised this was going to involve herculean effort, as there is no direct way through the Uber app itself. And so all efforts were soon called off. However, a little bit of research, and I stumbled upon this site. And they seem to have it figured out. How accurate the numbers are is anyone’s guess, but it’s a start. It’s a simple 2 step process to get your numbers. Here's more.
Welcome to the Uber LeaderBoard, a simple tool that tells you how much you spent in total on Uber trips. Also, it:
- gets your total Uber trips spending (LIFETIME data, since you started using Uber)
- creates a leaderboard to see who's THE Uber guy
- gets your total spending in each currency that you've' ever used (it takes into account the rides you shared, and only displays the amount *you* paid)
- gets your total number of trips
- removes the cancelled rides from the total number of rides, and
- most important of all: does NOT need your email access!
Here's the Uber history for one of my accounts.
The first amount of 20256 is actually in INR. I guess the Rupee symbol isn't displaying.
Note, that while cancelled rides are not counted in the above, it does not consider credits. So this is a summary of the total fare on completed rides.
There's also a leaderboard showing the highest Uber spenders, who've used the above parse app to find out their ride value and added themselves to the leaderboard statistics (this is done using a unique user ID that the parse app creates, which is not your Uber information).
A few weeks ago, we introduced you to uBeen, an application that analyses and provides interesting insights of your life (or history!) with Uber. It gives you the lowdown more on the number of trips, duration, days of the week you’ve used the service and a whole host of other data.
We here at MAEM simply love these overlay applications! Nothing more to say...
