The week that was - 3 July 2016
Hello from London, where summer seems to be only on the calendar. It's been rather chilly and sort of wet, even by locals' standards, which is saying something! Anyway, here's a round up of the week that was - a summary of posts on this blog as also other things travel, aviation, points and miles that we found interesting. Hope you had a great week, and here's wishing you the very best in the next one!
The big news of the week is, of course, that we lowered the gang plank earlier this week and welcomed aboard a new contributor whose been sailing different waters compared to us. Sameer will be sharing both his perspectives and updates from the Middle East, and hopefully, also some tales from his voyages - past and future!

- The long overdue third edition in the beginners guide series - this one on the IHG Rewards Club program - is now out!
Reader success story
- One of our readers managed to redeem a bunch of points and miles for a family trip, with a little help from us! And Pranay was kind enough to share his thoughts...essentially, you too can do this!
Other News
- A moving video of a rare combination of father and son sharing a flight deck.
- If you want to be on permanent vacation, here's a story that may just inspire you!
