Hilton HHonors 2x points promotion in Asia Pacific

Hilton HHonors and Visa have jointly launched a promotion for 2x points at participating hotels within the Hilton HHonors portfolio. The promotion is valid for stays in Asia Pacific till 30 September 2016 when you pay for your stay with your Visa Infinite, Visa Signature, Visa Rewards, or Visa Platinum (Australia and Japan only) card issued in Asia Pacific. This looks like a pretty nifty promotion for 2x points, with no strings attached except that you need to pay using one of the specified Visa issued credit cards. Registration is required here.

  • DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon - New Delhi NCR
  • DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore
  • Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks
  • Hilton Chennai
  • Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square
  • Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket
  • Hilton Mumbai International Airport

You can earn a maximum of 20,000 HHonors Bonus Points per cardholder, per HHonors account, during the promotion period regardless of the number of stays/nights completed. 

You could club this with Hilton's Global Sale for up to 30% discount, thereby getting a sweeter deal! 

While the T&Cs do state that you cannot combine this with other offers, I've found that you can stack quite a few promotions together with Hilton. Therefore, you could consider:

Conclusion

Given all the other promotions that can be stacked as I've explained above, this seems to be a good one-off promotion to take advantage of. In any case, no harm in registering, so you should do that irrespective. Who knows? A stay just might come up!

I checked out of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile yesterday morning, and checked into the Le Meridien Etoile, just around the corner from the Hyatt, in the evening after a day's sightseeing. Hotel review: Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

As part of my recent business visit to Singapore, I spent an extra night there just so I could catch up with friends, some of whom I haven't met in over a decade. And because I needed one more stay to qualify for the bonus under IHG's Accelerate 2016 promotion , and also simultaneously earn a few more IHG Rewards Club bonus points under the Book Direct promotion, I decided I was going to spend the extra night at an IHG hotel. Luckily for me, just hours before my flight to Singapore, I was able to get a rate of SG$150++ a night, which is a fantastic rate for Singapore, especially for a booking as late as mine was.
