SPG Select Member Exclusives promotion - 1 April to 30 June 2016

Every year, and pretty much through each year, Starwood runs promotions called Select Member Exclusives. These are targeted offers for individual members, though not every member is eligible to participate in all the promotions. Their current promotion, valid for stays between 1 April 2016 and 30 June 2016, is open for registration.

While I haven't been targeted for any offers this time, you can try and see if you've received an offer, by entering your SPG number on the landing page here.

Registration is required, and can be done on the landing page itself, if you've been targeted for a promotion. Registrations close 31 May 2016.

However, based on the comments on Loyalty Lobby's post, offer seem to be ones such as:

• up to 4,000 bonus Starpoints over 2 stays as 1,500 after the first stay and 2,500 after the second
• up to 7,500 bonus Starpoints over 3 stays as 1500, 2500, and 3500 after each stay
• up to 18,000 bonus Starpoints on eligible stays at 6000 points per stay
• up to 2 free award nights, as one after the second stay earns and oen after the fourth stay, and
• up to 21,000 bonus Starpoints as 7000 points after 7 stays each (so a total of 21 stays required.

I find the range of offers quite interesting...amusing even! Having said that, there seems to be no real pattern in who's being offered what. According to the comments in the said post, a new member who also completed a gold challenge received the 4,000 points offer (the first one in the above list), while another newly-turned-Gold member received the last one for 21,000 points. And someone who stayed 32 nights in 2015 received nothing!
