Crane carrying Air India aircraft loses balance, crashes plane!

Be it their pilots' indiscipline, their proposed mascot changes which eventually didn't go through (thank God for that!), or any of their number of faux pas, Air India never ceases to amuse or amaze the rest of the world! Here's their latest. Earlier today, a crane that was shifting an empty Air India aircraft - what looks like an Airbus A320 - for training purposes, lost balance and dropped the aircraft! Talk about planes falling from the skies!

According to this report in the Deccan Chronicle, the incident took place at the old airport in Begumpet, where the India Aviation 2016 show was recently hosted.
"...the aircraft was empty and was being taken to a hangar for training purposes. The incident took place at 7 am in the morning when the crane lost its balance and crashed..."

Air India further said that while the hull was successfully taken out of airport the crane later gave away making the aircraft unstable.

While clearly the fault did not lie with Air India this time, things like this seems to happen almost exclusively to them! Wonder why...

Check out this video of the incident!
