Day 3 at India Aviation 2016: Stalls, private jets and the Emirates A380
If you've been following this series of posts from the India Aviation 2016 show, which included highlights from Day 1, the aerobatics show and Day 2, then you'll probably know that today is the last day for business visitors and delegates. Tomorrow and Sunday, it is open to the public. More info on the show here. So I wanted to give readers an update of what's been happening over the last couple of days, and my experience with some of the aircraft on display.

All of yesterday (day 2) and today were mainly split into two parts - the show itself was taking place outside on the apron, and within the terminal building, there were discussions on various technical and operational matters, including ones such as financing, aircraft leasing, airport privatisation and skilling. I attended a couple of these briefly, and spent more of my time looking at aircraft and the displays at the stalls.

I also had the opportunity to go aboard two private jets - the Embraer Phenom 300 and Embraer Legacy 500. And can I tell you, it is beyond anything I ever imagined! Here are pictures from the high life!

As though there was a need to balance all the highs of the last 2 days and a bit, fate played cruelly with me. I wanted to visit the Emirates A380, but they (Emirates) had quite nicely, opened it up to the business visitors, while all other displays were on invitation basis. Which meant long lines, and that in turn meant I wasn't going to hang around in the heat.

Maybe next time!
And that's all folks, from India Aviation 2016. I return to MAA this evening (in fact, my flight boards in a few minutes). Looking forward to India Aviation 2018!!!
