Hilton win-back promotions for 50k, 25k, 10k and 5k bonus points

There are currently some great Hilton promotions going on, targeted at those that have not stayed with Hiltons in a while. These "Win-back" promotions offer a decent number of bonus points, for relatively few stays. However, as these are targeted, not everyone will be able to signup for these offers.


Either 5k or 10k bonus points on your next stay


You can earn either 5,000 or 10,000 bonus points for your next stay with Hilton HHonors properties, as follows:
  • 5,000 points for a stay one of Hilton Garden Inn™, Hampton by Hilton®, Homewood Suites by Hilton™ and Home2 Suites by Hilton™
  • 10,000 points for a stay at one of Hilton® Hotels & Resorts, Waldorf Astoria™ Hotels & Resorts, Conrad® Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton™ and Embassy Suites by Hilton™.

For this promotion, a stay is of 2 nights minimum. You will need to register here before 7 January 2016, and stay within 90 days of registration.

25k points on your next stay of 4 nights or more


You can earn 25,000 bonus points for your next stay with Hilton HHonors properties, where the stay is of 4 nights or more. You will need to register here before 7 January 2016, and stay within 90 days of registration.

50k points on your next stay of 4 nights or more


There's another targeted promotion that lets you earn 50,000 bonus points for your next stay with Hilton HHonors properties, where the stay is of 4 nights or more. You will need to register here before 7 January 2016, and stay within 90 days of registration.

This 50k bonus promotion is not available to those that are eligible for the 25k bonus promotion. 

Conclusion

Whey they are not combinable, each of these are great offers that help earn a good number of HHonors points. In situations like this, I'd normally wait till the last moment before I register, so that I maximise the 90-day period within which to complete the necessary stays. However, there's a Catch-22 situation involved with that approach, because if you didn't attempt registering now, there's no way you'd know if you were eligible for the promotion in the first place! 

Having said that, if you aren't targeted / eligible directly for any of these offers, you could possibly call Hilton Reservations and Customer Care to see if they'll register you for the relevant offer(s).

I think in today's times, it helps to be an Accenture employee. I'm only talking from a miles and points perspective, of course!!! A few days back, I had written about complimentary Hilton HHonors Silver status (with upgrade to Gold in 4 stays) , which was intended for Accenture employees - not that employment was ever verified by Hilton. 50% off at Marriott in Thailand, for one night

Marriott is offering a 50% off for a single night, till 31 July 2014, in exchange for registering for / subscribing to their eNewsletter. I'm not sure what the connection is, but I think the fact that it is for a single night's stay may well be suggestive of promoting Thai tourism, if you know my meaning... But well...its there to be had. I know this isn't exactly an India-focussed deal, but I'm looking at another trip to BKK soon, and I think there could be others who might benefit from this. The 50% off is on the highest available rate. Bookings cannot be done online. Instead, it will have to be done by emailing bookmarriott@marriotthotels.com or by calling the hotel and quoting your cluster code (which is D58) and the voucher number (see steps below for getting the voucher). Qatar, Etihad and Gulf Air fare sales - ending soon

Three of the Middle-East based airlines are currently running fare sales. While Qatar's and Etihad's sales end on 5 and 6 September 2016 respectively (yeah, in a couple of days), Gulf Air's sale has only just begun. Here is more info on these sales, from an ex-India perspective. Qatar's Travel Festival Qatar's running a Travel Festival sale , offering up to 50% discounts on various routes, in business and economy classes. What's more, sales during this period will also earn 3x Qmiles, on Qatar's Privilege Club frequent flyer program. Book by 5 September, travel between 15 September 2016 and 30 June 2017.
