Instant Hilton HHonors Gold status and other promotions for HHonors Gold
Hilton HHonors Gold is possibly the best mid-tier elite level across all hotel loyalty programs. It usually takes 20 stays, 40 nights or 75,000 Hilton HHonors base points (which translates to $7,500 of eligible spend) to attain. However, Hilton has certain corporate arrangements under which employees of those corporates can get benefits such as instant Gold status, or Gold after 4 or 6 stays.
This promotion is targeted at employees of specific corporates, like they've done in the past. Keep in mind that it takes 4 stays normally to reach HHonors Silver, so even a 4 or 6 stays offer is pretty good (but why choose those over instant Gold status!).
Hilton Hotels tend not to check employer credentials, so many folks have been able to upgrade their status using such links, even though they aren't employees of the said corporates. That said, any obtainment of elite status or other approach that is unlawful may result in termination of your account and/or forfeiture of all points earned (or worse). So do proceed with caution.

Currently, Hilton's corporate offers include instant Hilton HHonors Gold till 31 August 2016 (extendable till 31 March 2018 if you complete 4 stays before 31 August 2016), Gold after 4 stays and after 6 days (both, within specified time limits). Here are the details of each offer.
Instant HHonors Gold
This is available for employees of Accenture, KPMG, Oracle, Google and Siemens. The Gold status will be valid till 31 August 2016. However, if you complete 4 stays before that date, the Gold status will be extended till 31 March 2018. What's more, you get 1,000 bonus HHonors points per night at preferred hotels (list varies by employer, so check the respective employer landing pages at the above links).HHonors Gold after 4 / 6 / 7 stays
You can also earn Hilton HHonors Gold status after 4 or 6 stays, if you are an employee of- Berkshire Hathway (4 stays within 90 days),
- Deloitte (4 stays within 90 days),
- Siemens (4 stays within 90 days, plus 1,000 bonus points a night at preferred hotels - see link for list of hotels),
- HSBC (7 stays within 90 days),
- FedEx (Silver after 2 stays, Gold after 4 stays - both within 90 days)
- Cerner (6 stays within 90 days) or
- Toyota (6 stays within 90 days),
or a traveler of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (4 stays within 90 days).
1,000 bonus points per night
Employees of Ernst & Young are eligible to earn 1,000 bonus points a night on all stays till 31 August 2016, for stays at preferred hotels (see link for list of hotels). For each of these offers, you'll need to register at the landing pages provided via the links above. For time-based offers, the clock starts from the day you register.
The terms state that the bookings should be under the applicable corporate rate, but that isn't always enforced, based on my experience. However, I suppose because you'll be using a certain corporate's arrangement, only those stays at participating hotels for that specific corporate, will count for this promotion.
Do read the terms of each offer carefully, because they do have some differences between them.
Conclusion
Hilton HHonors Gold offers complimentary breakfast for two persons, which itself, to me, is sufficient bang for the buck for reaching Gold status in 4 stays. In addition, Hilton HHonors Gold gets you 25% elite status bonus points, 5th night free benefit, and other benefits that vary by hotel. It is generally not legal or ethical to use the rates of a corporate you do not work for. That said, some of these offers are pretty awesome!I'll update this page as I get more information and/or links.
