Hilton's summer 2016 promotion "Unlimited Bonus" announced - 2x points at all properties
Hilton HHonors will soon be launching its promotion for summer 2016, presumably called "Unlimited Bonus". Via FlyerTalk, the Hilton HHonors rep has today issued details about this upcoming promotion.
Hilton HHonors earns you 10 points per eligible $ spent, so under this promotion, you'll earn 20 points per $, including the bonus. I value HHonors points at Rs 0.19 apiece. So the bonus points represent a value of Rs 1.9 per $ spent, or about 2.8% benefit, in addition to the base points.
Incidentally, 2x points seems to be Hilton's standard now, since their Spring 2016 promotion was also for 2x points or 2x miles.

In summary, this will be a 2x points promotion (ie 1x bonus) on all stays. There are no non-participating properties, which is great news. There is no landing page yet, but registration will be required, when it is open between 29 April and 31 August 2016. The promotion itself will be valid on stays between 1 May and 31 August 2016.
Unlimited here seems to refer to the fact that there are no limitations in terms of participating hotels, and of course, there's no cap on how many bonus points you can earn.
