1000 JP miles for every approved Amex supplementary credit card

Amex is running a promotion in conjunction with Jet Privilege, where you can earn 1000 JP miles for every supplementary credit card you apply for by 30 April 2016, which is approved. Best of all, there is no charge for supplementary cards that are approved. This promotion is only holders of the Jet Airways American Express co-branded credit card, and is possibly restricted to JP Platinum members only.

The good things about this promotion are:

• no additional charges for the supplementary card(s) that are approved (and no application fees either, so really, no costs).
• 1000 JP miles isn't much, but is something, nonetheless. I value JP miles at Rs 0.72 per mile, so every successful supplementary card application is potentially worth Rs 720 per member. More, if you're looking to redeem in business class or (sometimes) for international travel.
• no income related documentation required.

You can apply for supplementary cards here. Amex consolidates all spends on supplementary cards, to the account of the main cardholder. JP Platinum members are generally eligible for two supplementary credit cards, free of charge. Beyond that, supplementary cards are chargeable, though you'll still receive the 1000 bonus JP miles per approved card.

Here are the T&Cs for this offer:

• Supplementary Card can only be issued to family members above 18 years of age. 
• The Supplementary Card application will be processed within 4 - 6 weeks on receipt of the completed application form with required KYC documents. Required KYC docs should be shared latest by 15th Jun, 2016. 
• The number of complimentary Supplementary Cards varies with the different American Express Cards, post which the standard Supplementary Card fees will be applicable. 
• You will not earn Membership Rewards® Points / JPMiles for all your spending on fuel, insurance and utility (electricity, water and gas bills) payments. Fuel includes petrol, diesel, CNG from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). Utility services include providers of household / domestic electricity, gas and water. These providers can be government departments and agencies including local, state, municipal organizations, public housing societies and apartment associations. 
• 1,000 Membership Rewards® Points / JPMiles will be credited to the CMs account within 120 days of offer end date. 
• 1,000 Membership Rewards® Points / JPMiles will be awarded for Supplementary Card applications received during the offer period 1st April, 2016 – 30th April, 2016 and approved thereafter
