Vistara competes with Jet Airways discounted business class fares

Just the other day, we wrote about Jet Airways offering up to 40% discounts on business class fares (which offer, BTW, is still valid!). In fact, at the time of that post publishing, you could stack a further 20% discount using your Amex credit card. Nonetheless, the up to 40% discount is still available for bookings and travel till 17 April 2016. And what's more, Vistara has got into the discounted business class mode now.

Vistara is currently offering discounts of up to 30% (though some of them are slightly higher than that) on domestic business class travel, for bookings and travel up to 15 April 2016. There are capacity controls, so if you want to give this a shot, get in early.

Note, that the above fares are also exclusive of taxes and fees, but includes YQ surcharges. 

At the lowest, I was able to price Vistara tickets on DEL-BOM return for random dates in early April 2016, at Rs 35,000 all in (the base fare was Rs 30,000, ie Rs 15k each way). These largely correspond to the fares that Jet Airways is offering on the same route and dates, and can be good value if you're intending to fly business class anyway, or if you want to try out Vistara's business class product!
