Citibank offering 1:2 conversion of PremierMiles to HHonors

I find Citibank's Premier Miles credit card program to be quite useful, given the flexibility that it comes with as regards using Premier Miles (PMs). You use it to book flights (by burning a converted equivalent number of PMs) which are counted as revenue flights (hence earning miles on those flights too!), but you can also convert PMs to other programs.



One of those programs is the Hilton HHonors hotel loyalty program, where the normal conversion rate is 1 PM for 1.5 HHonors points. However, there's currently a limited-time offer running, for a 1:2 conversion (ie, a 33% bonus).

Here are the key terms and conditions:
  • Bonus Points Offer is valid for Points Transfers completed between 17th October, 2015 (00:01 Hours) and 17th January, 2016 (23:59 Hours).
  • There is no limit to the number of PremierMiles you can transfer or Hilton HHonors Bonus Points you receive during the promotion period, but each Point Transfer must include a minimum of 100 PremierMiles. 
  • There is a maximum of 500,000 PremierMiles that you can transfer per Points Transfer. 
  • The Hilton HHonors Bonus Points of this offer will be posted to your Hilton HHonors Member account separately from the base redemption rate within 30 business days.

I checked out of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile yesterday morning, and checked into the Le Meridien Etoile, just around the corner from the Hyatt, in the evening after a day's sightseeing. Hotel review: Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

As part of my recent business visit to Singapore, I spent an extra night there just so I could catch up with friends, some of whom I haven't met in over a decade. And because I needed one more stay to qualify for the bonus under IHG's Accelerate 2016 promotion , and also simultaneously earn a few more IHG Rewards Club bonus points under the Book Direct promotion, I decided I was going to spend the extra night at an IHG hotel.
