Jet Airways' business class sale

Jet Airways is currently running a couple of promotions, but the one that's started today (16 September) and runs till 18 September 2014 has the potential for a few "steals"!

This is a promotion for business class travel, valid for both domestic and international flights. The advertised prices are for fares starting Rs 4,233 for domestic travel, and Rs 6,639 for international travel, with travel dates on or after 16 October 2014. There are significant capacity controls, so you've got to try really hard to get a good deal. Nonetheless, I was able to locate a BOM-SIN return trip for Rs 42k+, which in today's times is great! Here are the T&Cs:

For domestic travel:

• Valid for travel in Première on flights operated by Jet Airways and JetKonnect
• Tickets must be purchased on or after September 16, 2014 and on or before September 18, 2014
• Travel must commence on or after October 16, 2014
• Discount is applicable only on select booking class - P
• Child and infant discount is not permitted
• Date change is permitted at a charge of INR 1,000
• Tickets purchased under this offer are non-refundable
• Limited seats available on a first come first serve basis
• This offer cannot be combined with any other offer

For international travel: 

• Valid for travel in Première from Indian gateways* to all International destinations operated by Jet Airways
• Valid only on direct flights, except:
• Travel from Mumbai to Ho Chi Minh City – One transfer permitted at Bangkok in each direction
• Travel from Mumbai / Delhi to Newark / Toronto – One transfer permitted at Brussels in each direction
• Tickets must be purchased on or after September 16, 2014 and on or before September 18, 2014
• Travel must commence on or after October 16, 2014
• Flight Restriction
• For travel between Mumbai / Delhi and London – Not valid on 9W 117 / 9W 120 and 9W 121
• Not valid on flights to / from Abu Dhabi
• Discount is applicable only on select booking class - P
• Child and infant discount is not permitted
• Date change is permitted at a charge of INR 5,000
• Limited seats available on a first come first serve basis
• This offer cannot be combined with any other offer

As you can see, there are lots more restrictions on international flights, particularly on the marquee routes and the ones involving AUH (presumably Etihad refused to participate in this promo!). I've been able to find some business class fares that are relatively great deals, particularly when you consider the normal prices. Check these out:

1. BOM-SIN return for 42k

2. MAA-DEL return for 29k. This, when one-way economy fares can often hit Rs 15k.

3. And India's most frequently operated route - BOM-DEL return, for Rs 11.5k one-way (and identical fares on the return leg). Note, that this is only Rs 200 more than the check fares!

There's also another offer for domestic tickets starting Rs 933. Look on this page, under "LoFares Sale". Here are the T&Cs for this offer:

• Date change is permitted at a charge of INR 2,000
• Limited seats available on a first come, first serve basis
• Jet Airways reserves the right at any time, without prior notice to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace wholly or in part, the above offer by another offer, whether similar to above offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether

This offer is even more restrictive on capacity controls - only fare class "B" is eligible for this offer.
