Putting crew on planes...not the way you think though!

It is normal to put crew on planes.

A little over a week ago, SpiceJet CEO Sanjiv Kapoor put a picture on Twitter, with this intriguing tweet:

The picture accompanying that tweet is strange, a clear white-painted aircraft but for the tail. However, the surprise was worth the wait. And it demonstrated how SpiceJet puts their crew on their planes...like this!

and this:

They have pictures of six different cockpit and cabin crew members - three on each side - painted on the fuselage! Now that's got to be a first, ever! And don't miss the "With all our heart" slogan on the rear of the fuselage, too.

And if you want some more glimpses, check out this collage in another tweet by Sanjiv Kapoor:
SpiceJet isn't exactly in a great position now, at least financially. But personally, I think this new livery (if you can call it that) is a great initiative by SpiceJet!

Also, I do like some of these campaigns that they're into. Their recent offers include the On time guarantee, which I wrote about earlier. And they have been running quite a few promotional fares in the last few months, to win back customers and improve their load factors. And I'm also waiting for the big price war that is in store these coming months, now that Air Asia India has started accepting bookings and has offers for tickets at Rs 5 a pop!
