Hilton is planning a promotion for the next quarter (Q3) of 2013, and it is the TRIPLE MILES PROMOTION. The promotion What you get is essentially - triple points on weekends (Friday through Sunday nights) - double points on weekdays (Monday through Thursday nights) This is valid for stays between 9 July and 30 September. This is quite the same promotion they ran in 2012 - no major changes expected. Etihad is currently offering a status match to Etihad Guest Gold, based on existing status with other airlines. How it works The status match is for the first 500 eligible members only, or that's they say on the status match page. How it works really, is that "eligible members are determined based on their track record with other airlines where they have status. Plus obviously, they will assess what revenue potential you contribute to them, ie Etihad. If you travel often to the Middle East, or you are based in AUH or DXB (and, of course, travel a lot) then this is for you. Click here to go to the status match page.
